More attention for your offering in the region.

When multiple landmarks share the same map, each one receives more attention, because there are far more reasons for users to download the app, open it, and keep it on their smartphone than if it were just for the offerings of a single institution.

The monamu cultural landscape

A central map as a cultural landscape.

With the central map, we offer potential visitors an overview of worthwhile exhibitions, museums, galleries, monuments, memorials, landmarks, city, or nature tours in their surroundings. And for all of these, they can be assured right from the start that a guided tour is available. People who use monamu frequently no longer need to search through the App Store for a separate app for each individual institution, and they are already familiar with how the app works. We have thus lowered many hurdles for users, which makes the decision to visit somewhat easier.

Active notification for a nearby monument

Active notifications for things to see nearby.

monamu actively notifies users when they are close to a place that offers a monamu tour. This offers two key advantages: Firstly, it ensures that the respective offer is seen by the user in any case, and secondly, it saves visitors, who might already be at the sight, from having to ask how to get multimedia tours or other information. Searching in the app store or scanning QR codes is no longer necessary. One touch is enough to access your offering.

Retrospective of a tour with favorite stops and notes.

Collecting memories with personal content in monamu.

When visitors mark a station as a favorite or take notes, monamu automatically creates a retrospective for them. The data for this is stored exclusively on the user's smartphone. The great thing is that even if the tour is deleted for space reasons, the retrospective is retained. There is still potential to expand this function: e.g. enabling users to share their retrospective or, as already indicated in the first tile, to generate a postcard from it to help spread the word about your offering.

Expanded highlight section.

Highlights: When there is something special.

You can use the highlights at the bottom of the map to draw attention to events, for example. These highlights always correspond to the selected map area, allowing users to make a regional connection. In this way, you can easily draw attention to special exhibitions or the magnolia blossom in the castle garden.

Getting better together.

We aspire monamu to have an active community that exchanges ideas and influences development. In this way, best practices and new features will emerge that are useful and truly needed.
